FAQ
Before you ask
Questions, answered plainly.
The things homeowners ask most before the first visit.
Most of our oak and walnut kitchens land between £14k and £32k, fitted. After a free home visit you get a fixed quote — the number on the paper is the number you pay, with no surprise extras halfway through.
Drawings take about a week. Smaller pieces like shelving or a media unit are made and fitted in three to four weeks; full kitchens and staircases usually run six to eight. You get a dated schedule before we start.
That’s most of our work. Every piece is measured and scribed on site, so alcoves, sloping ceilings and old walls that are nowhere near square end up with a clean, built-in fit.
Mostly solid European oak, American black walnut, ash and painted tulipwood, all from FSC-certified suppliers. We finish in hardwax oil or water-based lacquer, and bring samples so you can see them in your own light.
Yes. The same small team that makes your piece fits it. We protect floors, work tidily and leave the room vacuumed at the end of every day — not just the last one.
Every piece carries a ten-year guarantee on joinery and hardware. If a drawer drops or a door shifts, we come back and adjust it at no cost.
